A lot of women make some very avoidable mistakes that deplete their hair of natural shine. Bad products is the worst thing you can do to your hair, so start by identifying some good products that work well for your hair type. Bad diets along with harsh weather conditions can also affect shine.  Over time these bad habits will dry out and break the hair if you do not replenish it. Everyone needs to add more moisture by using products that protect, nourish and moisturize.

I’m a great believer in organic products and an overall organic outlook. If you’re inclined towards organic ways to add shine to your hair here’s what I’d recommend. Use organic avocado cooking oil. Apply small amounts to your ends, it’s so simple, if you want to do a de-tox for your hair try using vinegar but be very careful it doesn't get in your eyes.  Vinegar will strip out most of the artificial build up from products. For a deep cleansing treatment, you can blend avocado oil with avocados, coconut water and a little lemon and honey – this will give you fantastic shine!
